The magic of mistakes is that they allow you to learn, laugh and connect!
Sometimes, it goes even further: ‘mistakes’ are part of your USP, and the biggest mistake would be to want to eradicate them.

⚽ Denmark’s from VAR disallowed goal against Germany for 2cm got me thinking. Would football have become as iconic if VAR had been there to cancel out the « Mano de D10S »?
✂It’s certainly very reassuring to construct a binary image of the world, where right is always right, and wrong is always wrong, where the goods are always good, and the bad are always bad.
But this binary vision is just an illusion.
☯It’s in the grey zone that we can best experience our emotions and feel that we exist. It makes us aware of the absurdity of life and reminds us of the probability of its inevitable twists.
What made football so unique was the emotions it generated, not the accuracy of refereeing decisions. From my point of view, tt’s no coincidence that the further this Euro progresses, the more boring the matches become. We’re in the process of turning it into a de-emotionalised product where there’s no room for error. Everything is smooth, corporate, and compliant—⛔ the exact opposite of its basic USP!
So please, keep making mistakes and embrace them. You’ll learn from them, and they’ll leave much more pleasant memories than the illusory quest for perfection.
